ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Arnold Manaog Foundation, Inc. (AMFI) is a non-profit organization that is geared towards helping the underprivileged citizens of the Philippines. The foundation wants to focus on helping the typhoon victims, homeless, uneducated street children and feeding the hungry Filipinos in general. AMFI is a venue to reach out to the indigent Filipino families who are deprived of the basic necessities such as food, clothing and education. In 1990, the founder, Arnold Manaog left the Philippines to pursue a greener pasture as an immigrant in the United States. Being away from his homeland, life was not easy. He has learned how to start from scratch and struggled his way up to where he is now as a senior accountant of a well-known firm. Mr. Manaog has not forgotten his roots and has been helping other foundation raised funds for the poor.

The passion to help and serve our “kababayans” in his own small ways eventually inspired him to put up his own foundation. This way, he will have limitless options to undertake different avenues to generate funds and seek donations for deployment for our less privileged Filipinos. You can take Arnold out of the Philippines but you cannot take Philippines out of Arnold.
